Effective Speaking, District Finals, held @ St George

Effective Speaking, District Finals, were hosted by the St George Lions Club on March 2, 2013 at the St George Public School.

The event went like clockwork, under the capable supervision of chair, Ernie Kaethler.

The school principal was enthusiastic and cooperative and assisted in every aspect of the day's proceedings.

Lions from District A15 were on hand to assist.

Lunch of pizza from one of two ‘best’ pizza places in town, was scrumptious – indeed it lived up to expectations.

From the morning Java to the snacks and beverages…all engineered with precision and superbly orchestrated.

There were French competitors in every category except the Seniors.
The speeches were par-excellent! The youth did us proud! They exhibited such leadership potential that we know they will be capable leaders in the future. Congratulations, contestants! Félicitations!
