Purina Walk for Dog Guides K-W May 24, 2014


The weather was perfect for the walk.
Breslau Lions Susan and Ellen participated in the walk.
Several dogs in training and dog guides took part.

From guiding their handlers through their daily lives to getting help when it's needed most, Dog Guides play a crucial role in the lives of Canadians with disabilities. Lions Foundation of Canada's mission is to assist Canadians with a medical or physical disability by providing them Dog Guides at no cost.

Beverly Leslie, soloist, added some comedy. It is hard to imagine that she does thrombosis research at McMaster University, by day. She was accompanied by the talented pianist, Christabel Pinto
Gordon Adnams brings years of choral conducting experience to the Guelph Male Choir.


Our own Ernie, sang Shenandoah in his melodious baritone voice.
