Induction of three members March 10, 2014, by DG Denis Vinette

The Club was visited by DG Denis Vinette and his wife, Linda. Denis conducted an induction of new Lions Susan and Ellen and associate, Debbie.

Denis said that International President, Barry Palmer, ask us to ‘Follow our Dreams’. Sometimes it is hard to follow our dreams.

One way of doing so is by assisting in our community. ZC Ajit followed his dream by doing service for the Lions Club. Dennis, as Cabinet Secretary, has been everyone’s right-hand man.We support the organisation in any way we see fit.

DG Denis’s motto is SERVICE – THE SPICE OF LIFE’. When we do something in service for our community, we spice up our life - and the community's.

Irish Cultural Festival March 1

Five of us attended the Festival and had a most enjoyable time.

The Irish meal was great and the pianist/soloist and the dancers displayed remarkable talent.

Some of the dancers will be performing at an international competition in London, England next month.
